MACK Knight Home Inspections LLC is privately owned family business located in Springfield, NJ. With 30 years experience in the construction field, along with project management, Owner Jim Stoffers is a fully licensed and insured home inspector who continues to build on his resume through continuing education. Through proper communication and encouragement to ask questions, we are committed to making sure our clients leave the inspection more informed than when we arrived.

The Inspection
The inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property in accordance with the New Jersey Home Inspector-Standards of Practice. NJ ADC 13:40-15.16. 13:40-15.16. The areas generally covered are All Major Structural and Mechanical Systems of the Home, Grading of soil, Exterior Siding & attachments, Roof, Chimney, Soffits, Fascia, gutters, Fireplaces, Attic Trusses, rafters & insulation, Basements, Foundation & Related Structures, Electrical Service Entrance, Electric Panel and type of wiring, HVAC & Plumbing and all Interior rooms.
Pricing
When buying a home you may feel that every time you turn around there is another fee, so we want our clients to feel that this is the best money they could have spent! A number of variables can change the price of a home inspection so be sure no matter who you hire that you give them as much information as you can about the property. Some of the things that effect the price are the square footage, number of bedrooms, bath rooms, kitchens and if the heat and A/C have multi-zones.
